Day 31: Eggnog and Baileys

Happy New Year’s Everyone!

Eggnog Chai

The only thing better than Eggnog and Baileys is to add Eggnog to your Chai latte. Make it a Chai-Nog. Yes, it’s a thing.

You can even get the Chai-Nog recipe here and spice up your New Year’s Eve drink. Add Baileys, RumChata, or even Southern Comfort.

Since I started my Tea n’ More tea business in 2020 I have learned how to make my own chai concentrate at home.

Chai lattes are a hug in a mug and are perfect for the holidays. Chai is a spice-flavored tea with cinnamon, ginger, star anise, and other tasty spices.

I love adding whipped cream and Christmas sprinkles or cinnamon to the top.

Day 30: Our Daily Bread

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

What does this mean?

God gives daily bread, even without our prayer, to all wicked men; but we pray in this petition that He would lead us to know it, and to receive our daily bread with thanksgiving.

What is meant by daily bread?

Everything that belongs to the support and wants of the body, such as meat, drink, clothing, shoes, house, homestead, field, cattle, money, goods, a pious spouse, pious children, pious servants, pious and faithful magistrates, good government, good weather, peace, health, discipline, honor, good friends, faithful neighbors, and the like.

Day 30: We Whisk You A Merry Christmas

A little bit of brevity into this Christmas Season. These favors were made by one of my friends as a fundraiser for school. My daughter thought the saying “We Whisk You A Merry Kissmas” was very cute, but totally did not get the irony of the kitchen whisk and the Hershey Kisses on the inside. Went totally over her head, whirled around mocking her, then it suddenly hit her.

All her friends laughed and she smiled. That’s my daughter! She’s very smart, but sometimes there are those times.

Day 28/365: Marine Corps Ornament

This Christmas ornament is one of the newest on the tree. It is in honor of my oldest son who became a Marine this year. Next year I will have another commemorative ornament as my youngest son completes basic training at MCRD in San Diego.
