Icicles aren’t as easy to photograph as I thought. I tried to get the glistening of the sun and the drops melting off, but just couldn’t get it right. I do like the stained glass window of the church in the background. This was taken at the Christian Church in Elmwood, Nebraska. Between Elmwood and Murdock (6 miles away) we’re a community of less than 1000 people, but we have five churches which are a crucial part of our lives.

This is really cool too! The window behind adds so much depth! I love this! Small towns always have so many stories behind them. : )

I took so many of those icicles, but I guess I didn’t know what I was doing when I took this one, yes depth is a photography term, remember that Dawn…

Those icicles make me shiver!

I love this shot. I would have taken out the bit at the top right as it is distracting but very nice photo all the same. :}

I see where you mean, I have a habit of leaving my cropping at 4×6, I’ll have to see what I can do with it and repost. Thanks
Anglin Photos says
I’m not sure I would crop it. I personally would use the content aware fill in Photoshop to fix it. :}

I’ll try the clone stamp, I use that quite a bit. I only have Photoshop CS2, a left over from my son’s college days. But I’ll see what I can do. Thanks.

That’s ok. Whatever works. It is just my opinion anyway. It’s your photo. :}

That was easy! Three second fix. Thanks for the recommendation and the keen eye. It’s the only way any of use get better is by encouragement and suggestions. 🙂 Please keep them coming.
